Thanks for writing out your story on this one.

Finally, I think I got it figured out.
Things were slow figuring this out. I have been sick Covid and was researching.
I changed out 2nd Transfer - It helped but did not completely resolve the issue.
I swapped out the Transfer Separate Drive Unit. I did not think this would fix the
issue - the issue of light printed or copied images.
I first cleaned the Drive Unit. The Fuser was recently rebuilt - but this did not take
care of the issue.
When I swapped out the Transfer Drive Unit and tested and tested and tested - this
seemed to do the trick.
The attached is what I changed - Thank you to everyone that helped with their input!

What I thought was a cure did not yet work again - That was changing the Transfer Separate Drive Unit.
Got a email today from my client telling me we are back to square one.
I'll update when I have something new to report.
I'm the only one that has ever had this as a problem. Lucky me!
Thanks. I'm being tested.
I had another model that was acting the same way.
I cloned all of the information from the machine, ran sim 67-17 to reset the printer, and then pushed the cloned information back into the machine.
Never had another call for this problem.
Try the clutch in the fuser drive unit, that clutch moves the transfer roller. We just had this issue.
have you checked the prints on the itb? if they look good on the itb, then check the secondary xfer unit. and clean the toner density sensors on 2nd transfer and the calibration senors above the itb.
light prints rarely come from the fuser.
you can also manually adjust the fuser temp settings
raise the temp 10 degrees for all the settings and see if that affects the print quality. that will eliminate the fuser.
