    MX3070 H4-00

Hello, I am getting H4-00 code on this 3070. I have put latest firmware in,wh changed thermistors and also the entire fuser. Replaced the PCU board, cleaned the fuser connector. The code popps up randomly. I talked to sharp tech support,I think they just read from the book just like I did. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

The ac and hl power boards have also been replaced, and have tried the procedure to reset the thermistor values.

It is not a dedicated line. I have a power moniter on it now.

    Hi

this bug has been around for a long time. If it occurs again and again, then it is definitely due to the plug contacts of the heater in the device. The attachment describes which pin causes which error. There was a free tool from Sharp Germany to clean/grind the contacts, since the pins oxidize/corrode and then this error happens.

    Best regards

Thanks. I have heard about this for a while but have never ran into it myself. I tried to clean out the connector but my swabs do not fit in there. We have the ones from sharp on order-They must be made of gold for the price they get for them.Ill try cleaning the connector better and maybe spray it out with electrical contact cleaner. Or put in harness from another machine just to fix the customers machine and deal with problem here.

    Puritan 3130Microfiber Tipped Swab ?

$32.15 for 100 online. Not sure what Sharp sells them for but I just ordered them from somewhere else.

Edit: Just found the bulletin for the UKOG-0364FCZZ swabs. Not what I ordered and yes they are pricey.

I'm betting that it's bad power from the wall outlet, not corroded contacts.

We ordered the ones from sharp because the ones we already have which are normal size dont fit into the connector where they want to be cleaned.
