    MX M4051 POD1_N Jam

Hi, i am facing a problem where the paper will get stuck in the fusing and make the paper become a paper fan. By the way, this machine is new one, including the fuser unit. When i check the sim 23-2 it shows pod1_n jam. However when i change the paper to a4r no jam at all.Example.jpg

I would look at the paper exit above the fuser and check if it has become unplugged or loosely connected as a next step.

In some cases, ''H'' trouble codes may occur due to contamination or damage to the fuser assembly connector terminals.

Fault code H2, H3 random paper jam

The male connector on the oven deforms under the effect of heat causing poor contact between the Pins of the oven connector and that of the machine.

    Cause :
Poor heat removal from the oven can cause the temperature to rise.
temperature in the machine (the heat from the oven is discharged to the outside of the MFP by the
    fans)
    1) Only on the High volume range is there a fine particle filter
Clogging of the filter and the fan can cause the internal heat to increase,
this heat causing the plastic to deform.
The UFP MX609UF filter kit filter must be changed at 300k copies on the HV range.

On the Low volume range, there is no filter
Check that the fan is not clogged.

    2) From Firmware version 0500z100 (MX-M4050), the management of the detection of a code
breakdown "H" has been modified as well as the detection of the winding of a sheet of
paper around heat roller causing H5-01 trouble code.

    Last Firmware MX-M4051 (04.10.z2 - 10/2022)

I would not have thought of this. It makes me think that High moisture content in the paper causing it to curl right out of the fuser and then doing the jamming as it is not going into the paper path correctly. It sounds like you have found a solution. Thanks
