Replaced PCU, MFP, Fuser, DC Power Supply and ozone fan. Only error that it shows is that the ozone fan is running but that has stopped since replacing the fan. Its not replenishing toner but it does sound like the TC1 belt unit is rotating. Any ideas other than the 2 other fans?

Re: MX-C304w fans keep running
When you changed the Ozone fan, did you also do the Ozone Duct Thermistor ? I've had a couple of MX-C301's present the same problem and the Ozone Thermistor was the fix. Just looking at the 304 Parts manual and they seem to be a similar setup. -
Re: MX-C304w fans keep running
I have had the OP's issue occur on two machines, both MX-C304Ws, and in both cases it was that sensor right there under the fan. On the first one I dealt with changing the Ozone Fan itself did nothing, and changing that sensor fixed the issue. On the second machine I jumped straight to changing that sensor which fixed the issue right away.
It's just called a Sensor PWB in the parts guide. You can find it as number 25 in the Rear Frame section of the parts guide.Comment
