    MX-M7570Band o drum and transfer

Hello, This machine is printing fine but when I open the side door I see the drum and transfer belt have this band around them. I have seen this before but dont remember what took care of it. The machine has 150,000 copies, still looks clean and like new. So far I have inspected and reseated components ect. No obvious signs of trouble. Seeing if anyone has any ideas. Thanks

I have seen this caused by a scrap of paper stuck in the drum unit, normally around the toner seal but since you have the drum unit out of the copier I'm pretty sure you have checked that.

    Good luck

Did you take drum out and inspect cleaning blade for build up or paper stuck inside????
Did you isolate colors like sim64-4 option 3???

Thanks for the replies guys. When I opened the drum unit everything looked good in there. This is a BK and White. So no change with colors. I took the transfer belt unit apart, did not find anything unusual except when I put it back together the problem is gone.

The issue comes from the transfer pressure plate being on the back side of the transfer belt unit causing the belt to contact the drum when depressurized. There is a SIM to release the pressure plate so when the transfer unit is removed and installed this doesn't happen.
