Im guessing the machine can't read the half tone patches on the belt. Have you cleaned and recalibrated the Procon sensors with the jig? Try running 44-2, 44-6, then 44-26 after cleaning and recalibrating with the jig and sim 44-13.

Are solids ok looking when you print?

SIM 44-27 to clear the value, then 44-26 to set a new value. 44-13 is used with the jig.

Error" message when performing Sim. 44-26 (Forced Execution of Half Tone Image Correction)
Cause: Half tone image correction is outside of the operating specification.
Perform Sim 67-24 (Printer Auto Color Calibration) to bring the machine closer to specification, which should then allow Sim 44-26 to be completed without error.

        good luck

Necroposting to say this helped me out of a situation with a non-compliant copier. There are still some of these relics out there and this advice might apply to other models too.
