yes have changed drum pm n developer. work for awhile then comes back. 70k on pm parts
I had an MX-365N with the same problem.
I backed up all of the settings and ran sim 67-17 to reset the machine to factory settings.
I then pushed the backed up settings back into the copier and had no more problems.
These machines seem to not make the pm cycles using aftermarket drums and toner...Sorry they just dont. First I would check the high voltage output and adjust it to what you get in SIM 8. Next I recommend changing the dv and drum and mk kit all at once with oem stuff. MAKE sure to install the little clear seals that go on the front drum seal on each end. If you dont it will pull dv sooner or later. next clean or replace the transfer roller. I personally just wash them with warm water and a little tad of lotion free soap and then dry. clean the density sensor in the transfer unit while you have it apart along with the sawtooth grids in the unit. Then recalibrate the machine. 44-2 and then 46-24. If this doesnt fix it or it happens again.....replace the HV pwb and then do the hv adjustment as described in the manual.
I'm beginning to suspect ATC sensors in the DV units, having this problem a lot these days.
I've checked DV ref (around 46, too low) with 25-1, then taken ATC sensor out and cleaned it, then ran sim again and got 20 points higher. Standard reading should be 84 - 108.
However, we've also been running some compatible toner (guilty) which may not be mixing well with the developer. If the DV reference fluctuates, due to sensor or other DV unit issue, you're screwed.
Pretty sure new DV unit will solve issues but looking for cheaper solution.
had that on one 453 (400k) and two 363 (800k and 2800k). On the 453, replacing the dev unit fixed it, on the 363, i reset doctor blade gap to at least 0.4 mm, and so far so good for 2 pm cycles....We only use oem on those.
Had this problem a couple of times and turned out to be a build up on the mag roller
Hoovered dev unit completely out ,cleaned mag roller and blade with alchohol.New dev and both machines working fine
