    Thanks for the info Dan. Yes it has the old style board so I'm hoping the new board does the trick.
    Were yours on the mx-3640 series machines? and did they have the constant c4-00

    One was on a MX3640N, and the other one was a MX3115N.

    Another tech, had this code on a mx3100n, after changing out the parts listed in manual
    , with out problem being solved. He changed out the DC-pwb. problem solved

    Finally solved the problem.Is TC pcb out of position.
    I miss read bilyahn and faxman28 regarding the TC PCB. There is two HVT PCB and i just look into the MC/DV pcb only.

    Well I replaced the board I think its the TC PWB part number RDENU0154FCP2 in it fixed the problem. I got the board from Hytec and they do update them with the 3 new diodes.

    Plus one on the two clutches on the rear of the main drive unit, cured C4-00 on one of my MX2310, tried all of the suggested remedies for this fault before trying the clutches as I could hear a slight rattle with them and it fixed it in minutes.
