    DI5510

Have a DI5510 that misregisters in the EDH when scanning to the customers PC. Copies look just fine. The image is straight but it is cut off. With the cut off portion appearing on the next page. Was there two days ago and cleaned the three registration sensors and feed rollers. PO/PO and unplugged machine. Tested good (I haven't actually seen the machine do this). Customer called back today for same problem.

I have had this happen many times. The black plastic guide that is on the bottom of your EDH, it is held in with 3 screws and has black and clear polyfilms attached to it,[it is up against the slit glass when you close the lid] is your problem. The black polyfilm is there to reflect the beam from the sensor behind it. If that black plastic is bent in any way it will throw the registration off by about 2 inches. Bend em back into place while you order new ones.
