    C252 and FTP Scanning

OK so I gave up on the SMB, don't really need it, and went to FTP. I downloaded, installed, and configured the FTP to the "c:\scan" folder. in the web interface of the 252 I went to scan and set up a new registration with these settings:

    Name: j
    index: abc
    Main is checked

    Destination information:

Host address: Box is checked to enter host name, QUADGREYDELL
    File path: scan
    User id: anonymous
    Password anonymous
    Anonymous: ON
    PASV: ON, Tried OFF too
    Proxy: OFF
    Port No.: 21

I have tried and tried but it errors saying login error. I do not have a password on my computer and the folder is set with full access for Everyone.

    Any ideas?

You got it! when scanning to the root directory of an FTP no path is required just put either . or / depending on what your equipment accepts now if you were scanning to a folder inside the root say C:/scan/joe you would only put /joe as the path.
