something seems wrong with my profile.. if i select my name besides welcome it shows not my own profile, it shows the profile from another member, same is when i click on MyProfile....

but copytechnet make a redirection to : https://www.copytechnet.com/forums/m...michael04.html
this is not my profile :-(

Weird problem, if I click on your name and view forum posts it brings up yours but if I click your name and view profile it brings up Michael04 who made a few posts 7 years ago.

totally strange software... maybe need a lot of updates and fixes.. maybe forum is vulnerabel for hacking ?

It almost sounds like your profile page was not created correctly causing the system to be able to find it so selects the first similar one. Have you replied to the welcome email that was sent when you joined? If not that could be the problem. If you did not get the email in you inbox, check the bulk folder and junk folder. If it is there you may need the white list admin@copytechnet.com.
One other thing you could try is to register again with a different handle.
To my knowledge the only remaining admin is aneurysm. As far as I know he lives in New York and has been very busy this year with other things in his life right now.

But with just one admin you eliminate the potential somebody-anybody-everybody-nobody problem. Until a little over a year ago aneurysm was able to sign in daily. He was almost always the first one to give a welcome response to Newbie Check In posts, if not the first at least on the same day that the newbie posted.
i understand this... i just a bit kidding...
a friend of mine always says:
a good enterprise server system maybe has uptime 99,8 % a year......
but a company with only one administrator has a guaranteed down time of at least 3 weeks a year.
when the admin is on vacation :-)

Edit > I would add a signature addressing this to your posts until it's resolved to avoid accidents like this in the future.
