    MJ1112 Saddle Stitch Finisher on a e5516AC

The MJ1112 works great when folding and stapling multi-sheet, 20 lb bond, 11 x 17" paper sizes.

In the print driver is the ability to fold single sheets without stapling. This is a common requirement in Churches.

This works for maybe 10 -15 folds but almost always ends up jamming.

Has anyone had a similar issue and how did you resolve it?

    YES

There is discussion on this during the last Toshiba regional service meeting and I have seen it first hand - Engineering is recommending to change out the mylars (6LB30065000,6LB30007000) in the EFS-SLD assy as well as the carrier spring (6LB09006000) - that seemed to fix it for me but the feed back from the field is to take one wrap off the actuator spring which i think is 6LB30045000.

I would have to have a look back at the mp4 recording of the meeting..WHY can't they just post the PDF or PPD file of the presentation ?

Followup - here is a snip of the info in the meeting showing the complete set of parts and the actuator spring.

I never understood why Toshiba never included the option to fold without stapling. It is frustrating.
