Double feeding from Toshiba 3540 3rd Tray (LCT)

Replaced rollers with new style rollers (clear not gray rubber). Any Suggestions. Sometimes pulls a lot of multiples. Part Numbers would be handy if you think something else should be replaced.

    Thanks in Advance!

Re: Double feeding from Toshiba 3540 3rd Tray (LCT)

I have seen failures of the tiny gears that counter-rotate the separation tire. I had to take a photo of the gear then drag it as big as it would go to see the missing teeth.

I don't think there is a separation adjustment, but a creative tech could install a different spring. Is there anything unusual about the media? NCR?

    Any jam codes? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It is not jamming when using tray 1 or 2. We got this Toshiba when we took over service on this bank. It is these gears I adj the spring but noticed a free riding sep roller which was odd. The gears that you suggested looked odd but now make sense. Problem i'm lacking the resources to order that gear.

    Thanks for your help Blackcat.
I will see if I can find the part # when I get a parts manual.
