    eStudio 233

Been working on an eStudio 233 that folds the leading edge of the page at the back corner. This happens only on Letter, not LetterR orientation. I have cleaned, polished fuser entry guide, replaced broken paper guide, and swapped feed heads(I know, long shot). Found no sharp edges that would catch paper. What am I missing? The fold is a hard crease, thus occurs before fuser. The corner is folded back on itself and image is sometimes skewed. I have touched all objects in paper path and have yet to find whatever is catching paper. Please help! Thanks in advance.

This copier was introduced in 2008 and discontinued in 2009. Toshiba Tec Japan officially ended all support on this model in 2016.

Parts and toner are no longer stocked by Toshiba.

This copier should be replaced with a new e2518A or a low mileage used copier like the e257.

How heavy fill? How wide of a leading edge void?

On text images a leading edge void of 3mm is adequate. On graphic images I've increased the leading edge void to 4.5 to 5.5mm.

SalesServiceGuy is correct. You won't be able to maintain this machine much longer. I'm betting that it doesn't run very well anymore, and there isn't much that you can do about it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Re: eStudio 233

I remember many years ago, having the same problem on an earlier version of this machine (e230). After replacing almost everything in the paper path, we never resolved the issue. Fortunately, the skew/folded corner only happened out of tray 1, so we had the customer run LT-R out of tray 1 and LT out of tray 2. Eventually it was fixed by getting upgraded to a new machine.
Since Toshiba doesn't support that model anymore, it's might be difficult to find definite fix for it.

Does it do it out of all paper trays ?
