    e-studio 307 hard drive install

    hello
    started out whith f code bad sector so i did all the key backup and restore stuff file system recovery all no help so I formatted the adi hdd then installed the firmware which went perfect it all installed complete and succesful then tried to go to 08 mode to initialize 08-9030 and it wont go into 08 it just shows the rainbow and says checking system what am i missing is it something to do with keys like from to sram and sram to from so i then took a good adi from another machine and formatted it and loaded the firmware complete and the same thing happens will not go into 08 im stuck i feel im close but stuck

    It usually takes 14minutes minimum to as much as 27minutes to enter 08 mode after a firmware update. Did you wait that long? Otherwise it sounds like you did everything else correctly.

    So I don't pull out all of my remaining hair, I usually set a phone timer. I don't start worrying until 27 minutes pass.

    Do you have/have you run the HDD diagnostic tool? =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    thats interesting i didnt know it could take that long ive done several updates on other machines in the past and never had that issue ill give it more time and get back to you

    well blackcat your a genius I left the machine on in test mode and told my customer i would do some research and get back to her so after reading your post i called her and she looked at the screen and said its in test mode i had her do 9030 and initialized and it worked it came right up im very happy and glad to have learned something i didnt know
