    Quick Drum question

    Hello

I have a es5540c that is down for a drum. I have a drum for the 5506ac. Does anyone know if they are compatible? They look the same but according to the book they are not. Over the past 30 years more than once drums that were not compatible according to the books. Does anyone know if I can save get this customer running today and not have to pay for overnight delivery?

    Thank you in advance

    Re: Quick Drum question

    e5540c uses a ODFC55
    E5506ac uses ODFC556
Gears on end of drum are the biggest difference.

I haven't tried it, but if the gears were successfully swapped it could work. The size is correct. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
