Step 1
Developer unit • Check if the developer unit is
installed properly.
• Check that the developer unit and
coupling on the equipment side are
properly engaged.
• Check that the mixer of the
developer unit is rotated.
• Check if the developer material is
too dark visually.
• Check if the amount of the
developer material is too large or
too small.
• Remove any toner or dust on the
ATC sensor connector and the
drawer connector of the process
cover.
• Remove any toner or dust on the
EPU sensor connector and the
drawer connector on the equipment
side.

Harness
LGC board
• Check the connectors and
harnesses between the auto toner
sensor and LGC board (CN313).
• Check if there is any foreign matter
such as toner in the connector of
the auto toner sensor. Remove if
there is and reconnect it.

On a machine of this age the magenta developer may be depleted or the developer bearings may be leaking ... probably both.
Reset? You can just forget that. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yuck...on a 2050, you'd be better off upgrading to a new one. That Machine
came out around 2012. It isn't on the obsolete list, but probably will show up
on the list November 2021, which means it will be DOA March of 2022.
The developer unit is probably shot. Those things will leak past the v-ring
seals, chew up the bearings and deplete the developer.
I actually had a machine throw this code after I had cleaned it, and it was just out of M toner. Don't know why it didn't just tell me it was out of toner. Just an FYI for you guys. Had me doing way to much work trying to figure it out!
Another thing to watch for, especially on the eS2505 series, is the lower developer duct filling with developer, immersing the toner sensor in developer. If that duct isn't emptied and cleaned when the unit is tipped (like during a developer change), the new developer will not read correctly.
The good news is that it's recoverable. Cover the upper openings and invert the full developing unit. The lower duct can then be removed. Remove the toner sensor and tap the teaspoon of developer out of the toner sensor housing. Re-install toner sensor, and vacuum out the duct. Re-install the lower duct, and re-run the developer stir.
After the second time, I now clean that lower duct on all eS2505 series machines if I handle the developing unit.
