Hello,
Do you know what exactly CB30 means on boot up for this model? Can't find that error code in the Service manual.
Thank you in advance!

The customer can't get hold of the previous owner. It was donated to them.
The customer actually asked us and really insisted to replace the 6LH51224000 CLUTCH-50C-G28-6 they ordered for the Tray 1 Feeder. She said she's 100% sure that it is the issue. We're not sure were she got that information but yeah, just like what we expected, it didn't help.
lift motor
If it was a jam, and the jam was EB50 ... yes the clutch might help.
But it's an error, and CB30 indicates tray shift for tray #3. The simplest possibility is that the pusher for the left side of the tray was attempting to push the paper stack from the left side to the right side, when an enduser opened the tray. The pusher at that time was all the way at the right side of the left half of the tray, and had not had time to return to the left (it's home position). Then the enduser noticing that the left side was empty, and filled the left side of the tray with paper. Now the pusher cannot return to home position because there is a whole lot of paper in the way. The way you solve this is to remove all paper from the LCF. Close the tray. You'll hear the motors run to return the pusher to the far left side. When it stops open the tray. If the pusher has returned to the far left, you can re-load the paper, making sure not to block the gate at the center of the tray. Often, I'll recommend that the enduser only load paper to the left, and let the machine push it over to the right.
Another thing that can happen is the metal plate that the pusher slides along can become loose, specifically the two screws at the left end of the plate. If those screws are loose or missing the timing belt will be poorly tensioned, and the pusher will not move properly.
The simplest solution, if you don't need to use the LCF, is to power the machine OFF > unplug the power cord > and disconnect the wiring harnesses to the paper deck. The only reason that I mention this is I have no idea bout your technical abilities.
You'll have to do some investigating. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
