    Tech told me about this one. 8508A, 800K... E-011 on any tray, any size, including bypass.
    Paper jam looks like the photo. SOFT folded into the area in the photo. All rollers, guides, bearings etc
    appear ok. Tech placed spaces of paper wads on the guides that place the pressure on the 2nd transfer
    roller (on the TBU). When machine is powered up, copies run perfectly, but obviously the image quality
    is whacked because the 2nd transfer roller isn't in contact with the TBU.
    Only thing I can think of is something is misaligned and when the ADU is closed, the alignment roller (rubber)
    isn't in good contact with the metal alignment roller, allowing the paper to pass through the alignment area and
    make its way into the metal guide, outlined in the photo. If it was over driving, & folding, I'd think you would see
    a hard fold on the paper, not a soft fold. Tech is going back out Monday, with a suggestion of removing the
    2nd transfer roller assembly, along with the TBU. Place a sheet of paper in the alignment area, resting on the access
    door below. Close the ADU unit, then reach through the TBU area, and see if there is grip on the paper from the
    alignment roller.

    The transfer belt is not turning, most likely because the transfer waste cleaner is seized. And the waste bottle may be backed up. =^..^=

    Forgot to add...transfer belt, cleaner, waste bottle checked. All operating correctly.

    Also take a look at the exit rollers. On the eS5560CT, it was common for chlorine gas released from paper bleached with chlorine to cause exit rollers to crumble. Original rollers were white. Replacement rollers are black in color. =^..^=

    Well well...tech finally figured it out. He mentioned that the transfer belt was turning because I had him put a sharpie pen
    mark on the belt, power it up, then look at the belt to see if the mark moved. He said it did. So we started looking elsewhere.
    Never could find anything. Had him PULL the entire transfer belt assembly and he found the TBU drive gear on the machine
    side & the drive gear on the belt chewed up. The movement of the belt must have been from either open/close, or what little
    gear drive it had. He's going to bring the entire belt unit in, but it looks like either the belt drive inside the belt unit is hosed,
    or, the cleaning unit/blade is jamming the belt assembly.

    Thought I'd follow up to tell what was found.

    Interesting. I haven't had to do much with 8508A/8518A series transfer belts. Just TBU maintenance kits. Even back to the 6560, 5540, 5520, I do not recall any transfer drive issues. I think I've see the facing roller holder plastic piece at the rear shattered by a customer who liked to slam the door. =^..^=

    Been in a fight with this jam issue on a 6550c and nearly got me . Like your colleague said when testing, the belt turned but it doesn't turn normal. The screw holding the gear driving the belt (on belt unit side) becomes loose an loose drive an also chewing the gear.

    After that incident, that screw was always in my attention at inspections haha
    Defects are simple, our mind is complicated
