    Only boots to 1 (1-9) reboots, 4515AC

Tech brought a machine in, that the customer said they were called in the middle of the night to reset the building alarms
due to a power problem. (traffic accident nearby I think).
They called us the next day, machine was "clicking" and not working.
Tech on site found the display would get to 1, and then would reboot. In the field, he tried removing the ribbon cables from
the system to logic, the power connection to the logic. I told him if it was only getting to 1, it hasn't made it past the POST
from the system board to the logic board.
He had already swapped out the LVPS, with a known good one.
I asked if he tried running the new logic & system board check tool. He said he did, but, they both checked good.
I told him it still sounds like a system board issue, lets try the rom recovery and see what happens.
    FIXED IT!

On a side note...yeah, I know it's probably not a 100% ROM, but in the 70's when I first got into electronics ROM stood
for READ only memory. I find it interesting that ya have to use a ROM recovery LOL.

Anyway, passing this one along because of the screwy nature of the problem, maybe it will help someone else.

    Good to know! Thanks! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
