Toshiba E-1057 tray 6 vac feed error

It's the only one of these I have. It's actually a sharp.
When feeding from tray 6 (vacuum feed), once in a while the paper skews coming out
of the tray. Machine is low volume, only 1.97 million.
Before I rip into this, seeing I never really have any "knowledge" of it, anyone that has
any hints or something they've seen with the vacuum feed that would cause the paper
to skew? And, when it skews, it's off about 30-40 degrees.

    TIA

On the Konica vacuum feed units you can get skewing when:

*You get a ripped belt. That belt loses tension and stalls, skewing the paper. Look for cracks, & rips in the rubber.
*The inside of the belts become dirty. Same situation. Cleaning the outside of the belts does NOT help. You must clean the inside & outside of belts, and the surface of the drive pulleys.
*One of the belts has dog-tracked off to one side, stalling that belt ... same as above.
*The lift plate is not level. Usually there will be catastrophic evidence of a lift plate crash & broken cables.

I don't know if your Sharp vacuum feed unit looks anything like the Konica Minolta ... but I suspect that they're probably made by the same company. If you can get photos of the MX-LC13 feed unit I can add to that. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
