5015AC billing customer for color copies when printing black

I won't know until hopefully Monday, but I suggested placing a department counter on their color prints/copies at least he will be notified when printing color, he seemed to be receptive to that idea, but it sounds like he is trying to get credit for previous printing that was done. That is above my authority.

Why are they changing the color in Word? All they have to do is go to Printer Properties and select Black and White.

Also on the PC printing from Word you can save a Profile set to print Black and White. Then in the print driver preferences below the Profiles box called Rules Based Printing and you can set Word to always print to the Black and White Profile.

Has anyone tried using CUPS to force B/W for Mac? I did at a customer's location and it worked like a champ. They were using the AirPrint drivers and no matter what they selected, it always came out in color. I had to enable via Terminal, but that was it.
