    Problem with custom template

    Hi all,
I created a personal template with a double agent, COPY + SAVE AS, but the copy function is available only with black color. Is possible to have copy function with color? And if yes, how I have to do to obtain it?

    Less important but useful.
    1) How to add date and time to custom file name?
    2) How to add the default quantity of copies from TopAccess?
    3) How to add "NO BLANK PAGE" from TopAccess?
    4) How to link a button of MFP panel to a custom template from TopAccess?
I also notice that if I edit a custom template saved precedently, what has been modified is not trasmitted to MFP, or better, on MFP I can't see what is been modified on TopAccess.
For these test, I'm using a Toshiba eStudio 3005AC

    Firmware version MFP: T373HD0W1610
    ROM main MFP: 373M-37
    ROM scanner MFP: 370S-19

Thanks in advance for your time
    Regards

    Re: Problem with custom template

Templates from Top Access are a pain in the ass, much easier to do from the panel.
Set up your job settings like you have listed then click the House with the + symbol in the upper right corner.
Register to home, name and place the button on the op panel.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

      Thank you for the reply,
I have already tried this way, but as soon as "Copy & File" is selected in the storage menu, the black is selected and the buttons for the selection of color are disabled.
Do you have any suggestions about it? Maybe the firmware is not the right one?
      Thank you in advance

        Re: Problem with custom template

The COPY + SAVE AS template only supports black and white copying. To copy in color, you will need to create a separate template. To add date and time to the custom file name, you can use the following format: [Date][Time][Filename]. To add the default quantity of copies from TopAccess, you can use the following setting: System Settings > System > Default Settings > Copy > Default Quantity. To add "NO BLANK PAGE" from TopAccess, you can use the following setting: System Settings > System > Default Settings > Copy > Blank Page Removal.

To link a button on the MFP panel to a custom template from TopAccess, you can use the following setting: System Settings > User Interface > Button Settings. If you edit a custom template saved previously, the changes will not be reflected on the MFP until you synchronize the changes. To synchronize the changes, you can use the following steps: TopAccess > Device Management > Device List > [MFP Name] > Device Settings > Synchronize.

Although the latest firmware is FW1900, the installed version FW1610 is likely good enough for this task.
