Toshiba estudio 477SL printing quality issue

Hi guys, Just received this printer for free, trying to set it up, cleaned the toner green roller, but didn’t help. Not much familiar with this, can you please advice if i change the toner would that solve this problem? Or i need something else to replace as well. I found an original one on eBay about $100.
please help me with this matter.

    thank you all in advance.

Try cleaning the LED print head which can be found laying across the copier when you open the toner deck cover.

    This model is discontinued.

I would not purchase a new toner in the hopes it will solve the image quality issue.

You can also remove the drum unit and inspect the drum.

thank you so much for your help,
i checked the internet and can’t find where the led print head is for this model, the instructions are only for color models only. I took a picture of the whole unit, can you please mark where is the led head so i can clean it. also i noticed lots of toner dust in the buttom compartment when pull up. please see the picture. I cleaned that, but after couple of printing it filled again, what could be the reason? IMG_8408.jpgIMG_8411.jpgIMG_8409.jpgIMG_8410.jpg

You need a new Drum Unit. The 'green toner roller' you tried to clean is scratched hence the repetitive marks on the left side of the print page. The LED print head is located under the Top Cover.

The toner dumping must be because of the Drum Unit leaking through the developing roller-leveling blade.

I agree on all points. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
