Hello,

sometimes i just need good old debate for a problem

we got some used e-3015. i did a full maintanance and noticed some white lines on copies. I put laser unit out and opened the upper cover to clean glass from inside(like i done this many times), so when i put all together i get an error code CA21 wich is H-sych problem on K. I swapped with another laser unit and machine works fine. Since laser unit is expensive i try to figure it out why i get this error code.I have some old laser from 05 series and swapped polygon motor,all laser diode and all flap cables but still getting CA21 error. i suspect this small pcb board LRL,but its just an intermediate board to LGC board. I just want to explain to myself what the hell went wrong lol
so any idea or experiance is appriciated

This was on the last monthly service meeting. Don't know if it will help, but probably couldn't hurt.

R.H. i did try that but no luck. thx for the input,i will be more carefull next time around laser unit

As a last resort, you could always send it to Hytec, and have them repair it. Cheaper than a new one.
