Just a thought as I really don't have an idea what beast is 385s, by 3 digits I could guess it's A4 model but that's all 🤣
I will try Lexmark toner but Which Lexmar model is the same as the Toshiba 385s?

This long ago discontinued Toshiba/ Lexmark model (not sold in North America) was introduced in 2014. Support is no longer available, you are likely wasting your time.

This product is not even listed in Web ribon.

Re: Toshiba 385s invalid factory configuration problem

Whe it is an actual Lexmark we use the Factory Restore Tool when a device gives the error. We go to the site, enter the SN and it gives us several files to install and the order in which to install them. Directions are in the Service Manual.

For a Lexmark BSD Dealer the files come back immediately. When it is NOT a Lexmark you have to go through the OEM tech support and I have heard it can take a few days to get the fiels and the directions are very bad. It can probably be done but if it is an old printer I would replace it.
