Xerox Install-Deinstall Documentation on 4110 and related models...

Does anyone have the installation/deinstallation documentation for the Xerox 4110 and it's related copier/printer brethren e.g., 4590/4595/4112/4127/etc.,?

It looks like the finisher probably just has some bolts to remove and I'm not sure how the wiring is setup if it's plug and play or not. Not sure yet what paper deck if any is attached.

    Thanks in advance.

It is a must if you want to selfservice the machine.

Do you happen to have it, or at least the install/deinstall pages?

Solution: You don't need much to install/deinstall these. This has got to be about the easiest finisher to install/deinstall that I have ever done.

    Steps to deinstall:

    1. Unplug everything, power cords, data cables, etc.
    2. Open the two front finisher doors.
    3. SEE PHOTO: on the upper left side inside the finisher, remove the screw circled in red.
    4. Pull the metal bar circled in blue towards you (that moves the locking mechanisms out of the way so the finisher can be pulled apart from the base machine. There's two attach hooks.
    5. Make sure metal bar is pushed back in and put the screw circled in red back in so you don't lose it (keeps bar locked in place).
    6. Close the doors of the finisher.

I got to admit the simplicity of this machine amazed me. I wasn't expecting such an easy first time. Even the touch display removal was quite simple.

If anybody else needs help on the install/deinstall, let me know.
