Xerox 7220 background when copying from ADF

Hi I am looking for experienced person advice.
WC 7220 scan/copy fine from glass but from ADF leaves background in BW and Color mode.
Replaced whole adf but problem persist
Checked pins on IIT PWB
Cleaned slit glass

This printer was without hdd so installed a new one (did not have nvm saved and no idea if the problem was before installing a new hdd).

What can you suggest or maybe have you seen this before?

also in tech mode have you performed the IIT calibration with the xerox color chart?

I did not calibrate as prints/copies/scans are perfect. Copy and scan work fine from glass. Prints are great.
The only problem is with copy/scan from adf.
I do not have xerox chart so have not done IIT calibration but that may help solve this issue.

I am worry about performing calibration as on 7220 calibration is made from ADF and this can affect all copies, scans and prints. Anyway I will perform calibration as you suggested as I do not work a lot with Xerox machines.

I have exact the same issue now on a 7225. What was your solution for this strange issue?
I did perform the callibration, but it comes back after a while. Restarting the engine does also solve this problem, but again in return.

I did not calibrate as prints/copies/scans are perfect. Copy and scan work fine from glass. Prints are great.

I have done nvm initialisation and change 616-014 to 2 or 4 (do not remember) once machine went into non customer mode.

That can be de flat cable that goes to the led bar or the led bar.

I had the same issue and, in my case, it was de led bar. After substitution this issue was solved.

If it's the LED bar, isn't it odd it would only give the problem from the ADF and not the platen?

I am having the same issue , ADF is only producing colored background on duplex side, as the platen scanner is working fine.
first it was green then after NVM initialization it changed to yellow after scanning it to computer.

Check the nvm with machine nvm sheet.
