initially check for the voltage and leakage current , there might be earthing problem from the lan cable , try changing the lan cable and check for symptoms . also check the lan port on the machine for both the led's are blinking or static .if the led on the printers lan port are steady and not blinking then remove the printer board and check the network IC for any damage or disturbance . surely there is some damage to the board.

    Hi,
I am writing about this , maybe it helps.
We had in service an wc 3345 that came with the problem that "... restarts when is connecting to lan network". As we did not encounter the problem we sent the mfp back with the recommendation to check the cable or network that is connecting too.

The client sent back that the problem persist and they studied the issue and they found that when the mfp is trying to acces dcs.support.xerox.com it's sets DF (Don’t fragment) bit for the package. The problem appears when the connection is using PPPOE and the router needs to fragment the package. The DF setting that the printer sets prevents the packet from fragmenting, and it appears to be in a continuous restart.

They solved by denying a firewall rule to the internet

You need to go to Diag Mode. Find clearing memory. After the reboot, the device will turn on with the choice of language and country. The problem will go away.
