I have been working on an Altalink C8055 with the errors 04-561 and 04-563. The errors only appear in the web interface and on the display screen it just says: Device not available. System Error: Power off the on. I talked to Xerox who after waiting on hold for an hour and a half had me altboot the latest spar release but that didn't do anything. It was at the end of the day and I didn't have time to wait on hold again. I can't find anything about the 04-561 code and the 04-563 Just says Image Module System Fault and that I had to get from the support.xerox.com page because those don't show up in EDOC. I know this machine had a bumpy ride so I reseated connections I could find on the IOB (I was a Ricoh tech for 11 years so haven't learned the Xerox terms yet), the controller and other boards I saw. pulled components and reseated along with that software update. Im getting ready to spend another hour on the phone but was hoping someone else had seen this.
