WC7225 with fault codes snet by customer
Customer sent me fault history from control panel. Does the fault history go to last 20 or is it more than that?
From what the customer sent there are 20 codes with repetitions of same codes which seem to have started on Oct 14,2018. Below is the list in order of sequence
This is all listed with the oldest codes first in order to understand the origin of problem

The Background of this is that I sold the customer a lease end WC7225 with low volume (19,900) . The machine was copying and customer was able to print using usb but not network. This was due to previous owner ( a bank) having certain security in place which an IT guy had helped customer to resolve. Also he bank had
their own ID + passcode for administrative access. This the customer called Xerox and a Xerox rep helped customer over phone to altboot and gain access to administrative mode in order to configure machine to customer's preferences. this was around October 4, 2018.
At the time the only issues appeared to be IT related and not a machanical functional issue. I am afraid customer will try to get money back when he has been
doing it another stuff with the help of 3rd party. I was not even made aware of these fault codes which started on Oct 14 until today. Customer said he was away and came back on Oct 18 and saw fault codes but obviously someone had to be there to turn machine on and off and this is not in an office but at customers apartment(home) where only he uses machine and maybe perhaps, his wife.
Any help and iformation you can give would be most appreciated. Most of the codes appear to be repetitions but one code stands out, the 380-603.00.
I am not at my home computer but on a laptop without access to the SM I have. My flash drive, which i have is unable to be detected at this time for some reason. I will try to get what I can online in meantime. Frank

Re: WC7225 with fault codes snet by customer
303-332, Network Controller Communication Timeout. This can be caused by loose connection or improperly seated board. Reseat all connectors, PWBs, EEprom & memory PWB on the single board controller.
303-346, The single board controller is unable to reestablish communication with the user interface after 30 seconds. Do same as above.
303-777, power loss. Most likely due to the user turning off power or unplugging the device in an attempt to reset the error condition.

Re: WC7225 with fault codes snet by customer
Thank you Exok. I have not heard from customer since my last post and my PM to you. Evidently, it was something the customer was able to work
out nimself or with Xerox guy he was corresponding with. Happy Thanksgiving. Frank

Re: WC7225 with fault codes snet by customer
This customer is contacting me again. He said on April11 that the machine was "getting worse + worse + he would have to restart it3 or 4 times before being able to print. He was using a Xerox guy to halp him with altbooting and various other things related to IT. On Apr 24 he said machine was powering and resetting itself 5 to 6 times a day. and said it says fuser needs replacement. On May 5 sent photo of screen where it says Select a service. Fuser needs replacement. Replace it now. And he says it will gointo fault mode anyway in 10 to 15 minutes. He in last couple of days is texting me to Please help and machine still showing "fuser needs replacement" replace it now. " He has another WC7225 for parts as it would not go intoready in September of last year and he kept it for parts. Please advise as I am inclined not to do anything on machine after he was doing varioius IT stuff with someone and I am afraid it could be unrewarding for me. I could arrange to go there and swap fuser from other machine but my inclination is to suggest he use another service. Your input is very much appreciated. Frank

Fuser life counter can be reset from diagnostics. If PQ is OK that's what i'd do.
