    Xerox workcentre 7225 slow UI found a resister on the mainboard any know what it is?

    hello techs im having issue with xerox workcentre 7225 i have replaced the HDD before it was a dead machine i change d ram updated d newest firmware but its so slow when selecting copy and scanning slow sometimes i get the error to turn off and on message i fount a resitir on the main board idk what it is? the jump is on j315 to u60 sodered

    is the resistor BLOWN?

    do you know what resistors do?

    what makes you think the is slowing down the machine?

    "i change d ram " did you mean you changed memory DIMM? did you use the same type.speed?

    you say "newest firmware" WHICH version?

    Hey guys currently experiencing this same issue very slow ui selecting options takes 4-6 seconds

    That's pretty normal speed for Xerox. They are dog shit slow

    This isn't normal. Once fully booted, they're fine. Having had this before, a forced ALTBOOT has always cured it
