Xerox 700 cyan dots on prints

I have been stuck on this issue for a while now and I’m out of ideas.

I get random cyan dots throughout all prints, I have replaced drum, dev, ITB, waste toner auger and cleaned all internal area, yesterday I removed the drum and hand turned the cyan dev and I can see it dropping onto the ITB, so I thought I’d replaced it with another one today, ran 100 or so SRA3 prints until the dots reappeared again, so something is going on with the cyan dev maybe not sure?

Maybe it could be a bad toner?

Changed the cyan toner with the second dev at the same time.

Hey when changed the toner and developer tank ,did u also remove all the bad toner from the dispenser unit, coz it bes having some bad toner too which eventually mixes with the new good toner and back to the Dev tank ,so u will have to make very many copies which.still will take alot time,so if u didnt remove it ,just empty the dispensor unit,Hope dat helps

I have the exact same issue on a DC240 and am also stuck. I've also changed the developer and drum motors without any luck.

Dispenser replaced didn’t fix the problem.

Re: Xerox 700 cyan dots on prints

This is the most frustrating problem ever. I have the same issue on a 560, magenta.

In the DC240 I mentioned earlier I have replaced

    • developer and developer housing
    • toner cartridge
    • developer motor
    • drum motor
    • drum cartridge

Also cleaned out waste toner auger etc, although nothing special could be found there.

The toners seems to build up between developer and drum and drops onto ITB every few prints or so.

Have double and triple checked ATC sensor data, color balance etc.

A colleague suggested the power supply, and although I am desperate I'm sceptical about that.

Cycle and check the max setup.

    Non-Xerox guy asking here:

Did the lower cleaning seal get changed with the drum or is it available separately? It looks to me like a bad lower cleaning seal. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
