    Xerox WC 5955 Dog Ear

    Hello,

Just wanted to see if I can get any input. I have a few Xerox WC 5955s that seem to be dog earring (bent corners). I know replacing the inverter assembly will solve the issue but its becoming costly to keep getting a new unit.

    My question is -

    1. What is causing it to go bad? Solenoid?
    2. Is there a way to mod/fix bad unit instead of ordering a new one?

    Thanks!

SOLVED! End up just spraying solenoid with alcohol and let it sit. Tested for a few months now. No complaints so far.
