Firstly you must diagnose the reason for not booting.Originally Posted by tomson25
Check the LCD Display near to the network port if its U means you can reinstall the software.
The software can be downloaded from xerox support website and format 16gb pen drive and create a new folder called Altboot and extract the software file (dlm extension only).
Insert the pen drive to front usb or rear usb port and restart the printer.

you need to download manual software. Auto is used to upgrade the device.

Create a firmware boot USB pen drive if your HDD is ok this should get the Xerox working again,

In manual upgrade there are so many files all needs to copy in altboot folder?

Since the machine is totally down you can use 073.xxx ending with 34540.dlm file only inside altboot folder.
power off the device and insert the pen drive in front usb port. Power on the device and it will take 45 min approximately to load the software.
