It was detected that no HD is installed, although this is a configuration (there is a FAX) that requires an HD.
Hi, I have the same error 116-388 on DC 250. Stops on second bar. Replaced HDD but error stil present. Can not even conect through PWS, what can be the issue?
did you just slap the HDD in?
was it a blank drive?
do you follow the service manual for HDD replacement and do the proper REP after?
did you try to do an ALTBOOT?
are you a trained Xerox tech?

did you search CTN for your issue? No?
