dc242 scan port inactive no blinks

Hi Tigers
I have DC242 with a fiery ERB server. the Scan port of the IOT is inactive.
(does not blink).I can not find how to activate this port.
Actions taken: scan cable replaced,ESS PWB replaced,
fiery SW reinstalled, scan templates are missing, I can not calibrate.

For scan cable you have to use crossover cable

You could reset and clean the pwb with a contact cleaner. Sometimes it is dirt on the contacts.
It could also be that the fiery network port has problems, I recommend cleaning the server.
Check the network ports separately by connecting them to a notebook with a crossover cable and see which one gives you a communication link.
