Xerox DocuPrint CM405df Firmware

Hi All,

I attended to a customer that has a Xerox DocuPrint CM405df they want to set up scan to PC.

I ended up configuring the settings through the backend with no luck the PC used is a Windows 10 as I keep reading post everything is pointing at updating the firmware. I was wondering does anyone have firmware available for this model.

Sorry to say but that's what uninformed IT guys would say and are saying when it comes to scan to pc on a windows 10 with the latest updates.
Windows 10 updates turn off SMB 2 and change security protocols.
You just have to go in and enable then back on in windows 10.

Updating firmware on DPCM405df will fix the Scan to SMB problem with W10 and you wont need to change settings on host pc to permit SMB 1. You will be able to obtain firmware from FXA Docushare

Update software on the xerox will not enable all the correct sharing protocols on w10 including smb. Smb is switched off on w10 with new updates. If your running old version of w10 Smb will be enabled.
W10 new security features include switching off Smb and file sharing settings this is why updating Xerox software will Not just make scan to pc work.
