    xerox 700 045-360

Good day, hope all is well, seem to be getting this 045-360 error code of my 700 a lot, running external Fiery, I restored my fiery server, hoping that was the cause but same issue. and the RAP gives such a vague description of the error code. any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a External or Bustled Fiery and do you have another of either?

    xerox 700 045-360

045-360 is related to the ROS (laser unit). Could be the flat cables (most likely), or laser M,Y or MCU.

    • Reseat the interface cable between the DFE and the IOT
    • Refer to the latest Software Release Notes to ensure that the latest software level located in the software matrix is loaded in the machine
    • Reseat the VSEL PWB into the Backplane PWB
    • On Fiery Bustled or EX700 Controlers ensure that the interface PWB is P/N 116N00264 or newer. Replace as required
    • On FFPS Controllers ensure that the interface cable is the 3M Cable with metal connectors (117K44230). Tighten the connectors with a screw driver.
    • On FFPS Controllers ensure that the XIMM PWB is 960K51691 or newer
    • Check that the flat cables are securely connected to the YM ROS and the MCU PWB
    • Install Tag 3 VESL PWB
    • Replace the Flat Cable

    • Replace the YM ROS

    • Replace the MCU PWB
