XEROX SFN-4 compatible printers

Hello everyone,
Is this Finisher (SFN-4 Professional Finisher with Booklet Maker) compatible with XEROX Color 550/560?

It is not. It will physically attach, but as soon as you turn the machine on, it will prevent the machine from booting. If you upgrade the finisher's firmware from 17.xx to 18.xx (which is the version for the 550/560/570/C75) and then turn it on, the main machine will boot, but the finisher will go berserk and start making a chunk-chunk-chunk-chunk-chunk noise and cycle continuously like it is ejecting paper.

They changed some of the external covers, which don't matter, but they also charged a cam on the eject roller and it is quite different, has different "sensing points" and whatnot, so although the circuit boards are compatible and can be upgraded with the newer software, because the cam changed, it doesn't trigger the correct signals and so it loses its mind when it tries to start up, never getting the signals the newer software is expecting, when it is expecting them.

They also changed the solenoid for the buffer gate assembly.
