Ok, so the correct way to handle this all would be:

    1) replace dispense motor
    2) reset NVM 762-315 to 0
    3) fill developer unit with new material
    4) check with component control 093-009 if toner is entering developer
    5) if all checks out, you should be good to go

I think you have tried everything, but I'm not sure if it was in this particular order. If you first replaced developer, then saw it was fading, and only then replaced the motor (possibly without resetting 762-315), then your developer was already depleted before you replaced the motor.

093-317 is error code. Not NVM for reset.

OMG .. went through the sequence again, of course I never replaced the dispense motor, nor the board this time.

I cleaned the developer unit and reloaded.

Made sure the NVM 762-315 to 0
Checked component control 093-009 and toner was entering

Did a total of 395 double sided SRA3 prints and the fault 093-317 popped up.

Have reset the NVM, and retested the dispense motor through the component control, checked the black dev shoot after 3 and toner was in the shoot.

I have another dispense motor on another machine that I Know is working, but can't get it until Monday.

I replaced the entire toner distribution tray with one that was in a Xerox 5580. I had to remove all the caps from the toner cartridges to get them in.
Topped up the developer powder in the dev unit.

Have now printed over 800 SRA3 prints and has produced no errors. The developer powder must have started running low around the 400 SRA3 mark .. the print has gone a lot lighter.

The toner dispense motor is running fine and the black is printing ... it maybe light because I never cleaned out the dev unit, just topped it up. I currently don't have anymore developer powder, some is on order .. will clean it out and top it up when I get the dev powder and see how that goes.
