    C60 & envelope fuser

Ok I feel like a dope for asking this but what’s the correct weight setting when using the machine specific envelope fuser for this model? You can’t use heavyweight 2 , it nopes out of that. I don’t see any envelope specific weight settings with the envelope fuser fitted or am I missing something really dumb?

    regards!

I have a C60 and an envelope fuser. I just used it the other day and printed a bunch of envelopes. I can use any size but only can select "envelope" as an option when the envelope fuser is installed. All other options are not available.

PM if you would like to discuss further. More than happy to help.

Well tyvm! I don't recall (at the time) seeing envelope as an actual paper type but maybe I missed it when scrolling through all of the weight settings.

Just to confirm: chose the size or custom size based on the physical size of the envelope (with the flap open) and choose the type as : envelope? It should be there?

    Thanks for assisting!

correct. The size and type should come up.

I usually leave the flap down but that could be a reason why it doesn't work very well for me. Flap down seems to crease the envelope slightly.

I would try it both flap open and closed and see how it works. Let me know how it works out. thx.

    Epic happy ending
Shouldn't big X user manual contain such information?
I know they're pretty harsh of service manuals though.
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

I don't reply to private messages from end users.
