Xerox C70 Integrated Fiery takes hours to process files before it prints

just installed a C70 with internal fiery that is taking extremely long time to process files before they are printed. it has been taking about 10mins per megabyte to process files. it recently to over 3 hours to process a 33mb file that was sent to the printer. What could be the cause of this. A 236 kilobyte test page takes about 1 minute before it is printed.

Any ideas on what could be causing this slow processing? Have tried making different drives from Xerox's website (including PCL and PS versions) with the same result.

I think it is from PC to Fiery. Since when the jod is sent from Acrobat Pro to the printer it then takes a lot of time to process before windows shows that it is sent to the printer.

Once sent to the printer it is printed promptly.

Then fiery do not have anything with that problem.
Check PC spool, driver settings, LPR or RAW settings in driver.

The files are a mix of varying types we print in our print shop business. Full color fliers, posters, business cards etc. Never had this response time from other xerox copiers to include DC5000, 6060, 242, 252 or even WC7665. So don't think file types are the issue or whether are flat layered etc.

We send the print several different machines and have tried different software to send the jobs on the network all with the same result.

Not sure what the ram in the copier is. Can check.

Could this be a driver issue? or something not engaged on the copier side?

    Hope this adds some clarity.

how can we tell? you haven't provided any pdf's of the system settings.

not ALL copiers behave the same way.

did the other copiers have the same firey attached to them?

what additional software is loaded on this one.

have you checked the network error log?

you gave us little (if any) info but you expect us to help you?

    Come on Man.

    Thanks your responses so far.

Will try and give some better detail when I get back to check on some things you have asked for.

I dont think that is available in the print que manager in windows 10. I have also submitted a Job using the web interface directly to the printer with the same delay in processing.
