I was relocating my Xerox V2100, and now the machine is not powering up.
The green press status light is on, but the initial display is not turning on.

Any ideas?

do an altboot firmware install

are you sure you reconnected all the plugs and you have 220 volts

All plugs connected and tested, every switch checked and rechecked

unless you blow the power supply I dont see how the machine could do this when it was working fine before the move

First step should be to reload fw like Phil mentioned. Your hdd might go bad too.

Go to 2.2.2 chapter in service manual and follow the procedures.
Start with 2.2.2.4 procedure.

does the display show any progress when you boot up or completely dead?
do you see any lights on the ess board?
any fans?
any sign of life?

- Display is dead
- no lights on the ESS board
- no fans
- no sign of live unless the small green light next to the display on FWA
