Versant 2100 error 077-339

HI,

I have a Xerox versant 2100 with error 077-339, error description says, lower cooling belt walking to outer side, and It does, if I take out the assembly and center the belt it works for a while then error comes back.

Does anybody has info about what could be cusing this or any tip about what to look for.

Hi,

A colleague of mine had the same problem and it resulted in the board receiving the signal from the belt edge sensor having to be replaced. Check if the sensor on the upper cooling belt is identical to that of the lower cooling belt and swap out to test. If the belt still walks out, then have a look at the board as the suspect.

My colleagues having the exact same issue on a 2100. Do you remember what the fix was?

He's on holiday now for 2 weeks so I'll have to pop back there.
