    Xerox 550 error 077-909.

    Xerox 550 error 077-909.

    The copier , makes both simplex and Duplex copies in black and white mode , but gives error while copying or printing in color mode .

    If anyone have faced this issue and has any suggestion would be great.

    What have you done to get this problem?
    NVM reset?
    Remove battery from NVM PWB?9

    Primarily there were multiple codes on machine , 124-338, 124-311, 116-320, 045-316, 10-320, 062-380/326, 077-909.

    I have cleared all errors and now stuck on 077-909,
    I have tried NVM reset, changed both the batteries (ESS and MCu),
    Replaced registration sensor , iot exit sensor, replaced fuser assembly, cleaned the drawer connectors .
    Still it gives code 077-909,i checked NVM chain link 742-003, shows 77108 or 77105(sometimes).

    If the registration assembly was replaced, the OHP (transparency) sensor has been removed from the registration assemblies.
    If the registration assembly has not been replaced, the OHP (transparency) sensor may have failed or an IOT nvm initialization has been performed.

    Hi IGEN93,

    Have a look at 2 possible locations for media stuck in the machine or defective sensors/connectors. Two Eureka Tips point to a jam in the MSI pre-registration sensor and a fuser exit sensor out of position.

    i have already replaced fuser exit sensor, iot exit sensor, pre registration sensor.

    Turn off OHP sensor in diagnostic.

    Thanks for the solution, it worked , I found the missing nvm list from the machine and that nvm was listed in the list .
