Hi guys,
Customer has a Xerox Workcentre 7830i printing blurry on PDF documents only. Happening from multiple computers but Word docs and emails print clearly. Using genuine toner and drums. Strange problem, any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

As Phil said, much more info needed.
Which driver are you using? Which pdf reader are you printing from? Have you tried the Adobe Reader 'Print as Image' option?

Low Original Resolution
If you start with a low-resolution image or other file, the resulting PDF may look blurry or pixelated, especially if printed out. PDF converters can't make your finished document look any clearer than the original. Use files with resolutions of at least 72 dots per inch for Web display and 200 to 300 dpi for printing. Enlarging small images can also increase blurriness.
Incorrect Settings
Even if you start with good quality images and text, the final PDF file may look blurry. If this happens, check your output settings. Some PDF converters default to a relatively low resolution for output, resulting in a fuzzy-looking result. Use the same resolutions you would for originals, and don't choose images made at screen resolution for a document you intend to print. The file may look good on your monitor but will always do poorly on the page.
Software Incompatibility
Sometimes, you need third-party software to convert your file to PDF. For instance, Microsoft Word doesn't include native PDF conversion. Visio objects and some graphics embedded in Word documents may not combine well with third-party PDF converters, producing blurry charts and illustrations. Try converting the problem object into a format the third-party software can handle, such as a JPG, or use a different conversion program to produce clean results.
Thanks for the fast response guys! The client is mostly working remotely now so took a couple weeks to get back to work on this issue. I brought in an experienced Xerox tech to help me out, he did the firmware update and that solved the problem so far. Thanks again!
