    Xerox altalink 8045 glass

    Xerox 8045 if you copy from ADF good copy but if you copy from the glass give me this copy or message that the order delete

    check for the improper belt operation and clean the optics mirror of the scanner carriage , if any contamination found, clean it and apply grease on the carriage slide.
    Make sure all the mirrors are clean also the ccd .

    looks to me like bad scanner cables ir power and data cables 117k50580 and 117k50590

    YES i have seen very similar issue on c8045 ended up being scanner cables

    This isn't a xerox fix, but I've had issues with other manufacturers machines that off the glass it was good/bad, but through the doc feed it was
    good/bad...ended up being a bad DIMM memory module. How I found it was there were two ram modules. One for page memory, the
    other for the system. Swapped them and the machine wouldn't boot. Replaced it and it fixed the issue.
