Hi all, does any one know the differences between the Fuji Xerox Docucentre-iv c2265 and the Fuji Xerox Docucentre-iv c2265N, are toners, drums and a1 finisher interchangable?

This is a bit of a silly question, how do you remove the center output tray and install and setup the a1 finisher in a printer thats never had one before?

I did not work with this model but removing center tray should be very easy. Press a bit center tray where it is attached to the back (by 1 tab) to release it and then pull to release it from exit paper area (2 tabs). Once you remove it check if you got a small cover installed on top of the lower output tray and remove it. Now you should be able to install a1 finisher.

I did not work on this particular model but I believe that the above procedure is correct. It may need also some adjustment but I never had to do this as always work straight away.
Of course turn the machine off first.

The DCIV C2265/2263 and DCIV C2265N/2263N are very similar. No difference in capabilities except the N model was a later one. It may have had SMB 1.2 capability. I think it also may have had airprint capacity which the earlier one did not. Both models take same consumables.. Also same as DC IV 2260 earlier model except some drums were unique to the early model device. Both now end of life product in Australia but still many in field.
