    Xerox C60 copy quality issues

Hello guys , am having a Xerox C60 printing just only Mat finish , it’s only done like 500k clicks , has an EFi fiery stand alone, i have calibrated it over and over , just went into fiery print driver setting and changed everything to best , even set to image smoothen and glossy but all in vain the print doesn’t seem to improve, any ideas will be much appreciated

You don't seem to have said what the actual quality issue is. Can you post an example? Have you tried test pages from service mode?

Ok thanks mate for the quick response? Anyway the main issue is poor quality prints , looks blurry, not sharp at all , yet cleaned up the ROS and the Drums seem to be very ok , tried to increase the blush of the developer tanks but the prints seem to still be faint but funny when you make internal test patterns, the prints are much sharper than on just sent from the computers/fiery , so that’s where am really getting confused on what to do.

Thanks mate for the response, this happens to all types of paper and to all gsm , I have managed to print on different gsm with right paper settings but still does the same , was just wondering if there’s any thing to do with the fiery color profiles, am not an expert in fiery but I just think you guys could be knowing what to do, you asked whether they are using OEM Toners , that for sure I can’t tell as it’s a refurbished machine with just 500k clicks from Dubai, so can’t really tell if the toner is genuine or not,

so when you pull the toners does it say XEROX GENUINE ?

print the Config page and post it... the machine will display what paper setting is for each tray Type .. size ..weight

when you turn the machine on does it print a settings page at startup?

can you use the IP address to login to the machine?

Actually on arrival the machine had all the toners in but without toner chips , so replace all the toners with new ones that are sold by xerox rep here, yes on boot up the machine prints a fiery startup page which doesn’t look as bad as the printed copies, I am sure I can logon the machine, through the IP address

    thanks truly appreciate

You can't run Xerox production machines using default paper settings. You need to go into admin mode and create your own paper catalogue. You need to print out a transfer adjustment chart (SIQA) and select the row of colors will the best fill. This is the only way to avoid mottle and density issues.

This video should be the same as a C60 or close enough.

Xerox has always ( as far as I know ) a very narrow media requirements.
